Noel has made his life with horses. He began riding in utero, with his first solo ride at the age of three. He constantly seeks the best knowledge and coaching possible to further his equestrian skills. Some of those from whom he has learned include coaches George Morris, Denny Emerson, Blyth Taite, and Peter Gray; vet clinics such as Rood and Riddle, Virginia Tech, and Burwash Equine Clinic; and some of the best farriers and alternative medicine specialists across North America. To date, Noel’s primary focus has been in the sport of Three-Day Eventing, achieving a spot on the Canadian Olympic Team long list for the first time in 2006. Noel has also recently been showing in the show jump ring. In 2014, Noel had the amazing opportunity to act as assistant to George Morris for a three week clinic across the US. He has trained several young horses up through the levels as well as helped many riders aspiring to improve their riding as well as their horsemanship skills. Noel is committed to making a positive difference for every horse and rider he has the privilege to work with.
